Zero Chance Trump Wasn’t Briefed

The perfect followup question for every reporter to ask when an admin member denies Trump was briefed:
“Who will be fired for this agregious failure to inform the president that Putin, the man the president is trying to help gain readmittance to the G7, has been paying Afghans to kill US soldiers under the president’s nose?”

“Facing strong criticism from Democrats, Trump said on Twitter that neither he nor Vice President Mike Pence had been briefed on the classified assessment. Trump also tried to cast doubt on a New York Times report that said he had been told about the matter.”

“Nobody briefed or told me, @VP Pence, or Chief of Staff @MarkMeadows about the so-called attacks on our troops in Afghanistan by Russians, as reported through an ‘anonymous source’ by the Fake News @nytimes,” Trump wrote. “Everybody is denying it & there have not been many attacks on us…..”

Here’s video of Democrat Claire McCaskill attempting to make sure our military gets paid during the government shutdown.

Republican leader Mitch McConnell stops it, so his party can maintain the talking point that “Democrats care more about illegal aliens than out military.”
